Day 1 : Arrival in Zagreb

TUpon arrival to Zagreb airport, transfer to the hotel. Embark on a guided city tour of the ancient city of Zagreb. Walk along the historic "Upper Town". Here visit St. Mark's church, the baroque St. Catherine's cathedral, Parliament and the Government Palace. Stop at the famous cemetery of Mirogoj, the "Westminster Abbey of Croatia", as well as the ornate 19th century National Theatre. Zagreb has various museums, one of the nation's oldest universities, as well as beautiful turn-off the century parks worth exploring. Dinner in restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Zagreb.

Day 2 : Zagreb – Opatija

After breakfast, depart for Opatija. Once the resort of choice for European royalty and cultural figures from Gustav Mahler to Isadora Duncan, Opatija is Croatia's oldest seaside resort. Since Roman times, Opatija has been a "spa" town offering rest and recreation to its innumerable visitors. With all the sun drenched pleasures of a European resort town, it's grand villas, sub tropical botanical gardens, old-style grand hotels, wide boulevards, and busy marinas have attracted Europeans since the 1840s with almost religious fervor. Day 3 : Opatija – Venice – Opatija

In the morning travel to Venice, Italy (by hydrofoil in high season only, otherwise by automobile) Upon arrival in Venice, tour the ancient city of Venice. Visit the legendary city of canals that was once a great power in the region. Your city tour includes St. Mark's basilica and the Doge's Palace on St. Mark's Square, with its long colonnades, the famous Bridge of Sighs and other landmarks of this unique city. You might also visit the famed Murano Glass Works on a nearby island or glide down the canals by boat to savor the gracious old palaces rising from the waters. A relaxing gondola ride through the narrow canals is available as well. Enjoy a traditional Venetian lunch on your own before returning to Opatija.

Day 4 : Opatija – Plitvice Lakes

Morning departure for Plitvice Lakes, on the UNESCO list of World Natural Heritage sites. Travel time from Opatija to the Plitvice Lakes is 4 hours amidst beautiful scenery. Upon arrival at the Lakes, tour the 16 crystal blue lakes cascading into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Walk on the wooden promenades to view majestic and pristine waters where every turn leads you to breathtaking scenery and yet another waterfall.

Day 5 : Plitvice Lakes – Split

After breakfast depart to Split. After lunch at a traditional Mediterranean restaurant in the old city of Split take a city tour of Split. The visit include palace that Emperor Diocletian built for his golden years at the turn of the 4th century became the core of this sprawling city. The mausoleum of the pagan Roman emperor evolved with time into the world's oldest Roman Catholic church. Tour the Palace including the entire new wing, which has recently been opened after 50 years of excavations. What began as an imperial residence and fortified camp is today an intriguing maze of narrow cobblestone streets where pre-Romanesque churches are nestled alongside Gothic chapels. History-filled museums boast galleries of contemporary art and aroma-alluring restaurants compete with bustling cafes for the attention of the people that pass them by.

Day 6 : Split – Dubrovnik

After breakfast depart from Split to Dubrovnik. Afternoon, arrival to Pile Gate for a walking tour of the historic core of the medieval, walled city of Dubrovnik. Visit the Sponza Palace, notable for its columned courtyard with elaborate stone carvings, the Dominican church and monastery with its rich treasury, the impressive Rector´s Palace, the church of St. Blaise, and the 14th century Franciscan Monastery whose cloister ranks among the most inspiring sites of the city. Medieval ramparts encircle the city which pedestrians can enter through one of two gates. Crossing a stone bridge under the watchful gaze of the city´s patron saint, Blaise or Vlaho, visitors find themselves joining the centuries old evening promenade down the broad, stone-paved avenue known as Stradun. More than an avenue, it is the city´s main artery, lined with graceful stone palazzos where people both work and live. Lunch in the romantic and exclusive restaurant.

Transfer to Dubrovnik airport for departure flights.
